South Park Community Church is led in fellowship by Rev. Kenny Shaw. Rev. Shaw and his family, wife Sarah, son Liam and daughter Violette, joined our community in September of 2014. He is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and has served four years as Pastor in McGehee, Arkansas. Rev. Shaw grew up in Colorado Springs and is happy to be near to family and friends. He brings a strong commitment to God's plan for our South Park Community. That plan is best expressed by Rev. Shaw's note below:
Thank you for visiting our website!
I hope you find South Park Community Church to be a joyful, welcoming, thoughtful, and active congregation. We worship God together in our historic chapel, and spread out to serve God throughout South Park. We hope to faithfully and humbly share the love we have experienced in Christ with our neighbors near and far. You will find us working at the Food Bank, volunteering at the school, helping out at the Boys and Girls Club, and building relationships with students at South Park Youth Group gatherings. You might see us hauling loads of firewood for the Salvation Army, serving meals at the Senior Center, and sitting on committees and boards throughout our community. You will definitely bump into us on hiking trails, ski runs, jeep roads, and trout streams as we enjoy God's beautiful Rocky Mountains together. We are a community of Jesus' disciples who are seeking to trust God, love each other, and care for our community. Please join us for worship, or for any of our many activities, and experience the life of South Park Community Church for yourself.
Together in Christ's service,
- Pastor Kenny
